
DR. EUGENE NEWMAN
NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST
​Dr. Newman earned his MS and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University in 1976. He received post-doctoral training in Neuropsychology from Fielding University in 2007. Dr. Newman became Board Certified in School Neuropsychology in 2009 (ABSNP) and Board Certified in Pediatric Neuropsychology in 2014 (ABPdN). He is a licensed bilingual (English/Spanish - Para español, usar el botón con banderas) psychologist and school psychologist in New York State. He has vast experience in conducting forensic evaluations with particular expertise in cases related to learning disability, lead poisoning and traumatic brain injury. A great deal of his practice relates to evaluation of cases where the plaintiff requests a Fair Hearing with the Department of Education (in New York City).
Dr. Newman is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), American Psychological Association (APA), New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA) and The New York State Association of Neuropsychology (NYSAN).
